The Children's Place Promotes Amy Hauk to Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager
SECAUCUS, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 20, 2003--The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCE), today announced that Amy Hauk, 37, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager, from her previous position of Vice President, Merchandising.

Ms. Hauk joined The Children's Place in April of 2002. Previously, Ms. Hauk spent six years with Gap Inc. (NYSE: GPS), in increasing roles of responsibility within the BabyGap and Old Navy concepts. Prior to Gap Inc., she was with Sunglass Hut for two years as a buyer. Ms. Hauk began her retailing career with Macy's West, where she spent six years, and received her Bachelors Degree from University of California at Davis.
