(Nasdaq: PLCE), today announced sales of $59.9 million for the four-week period ended February 28, 2004, a 35% increase over sales of $44.3 million for the same period last year. Comparable store sales for the four-week period increased 25% versus a 24% decrease in February 2003. The Company opened one store during the month.
