The Children's Place Announces Departure of Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration

SECAUCUS, N.J., Feb 11, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq:PLCE), the largest pure-play children's specialty apparel retailer in North America, today announced that Susan Riley, Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration, is leaving the Company. The Company has commenced a search for a Chief Financial Officer and will eliminate the position of Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration.

John Taylor, Vice President, Finance, will assume the position of Interim Principal Financial Officer and Bernard McCracken, Vice President, Controller, will assume the position of Interim Principal Accounting Officer.
